Memphis Record Pressing is proud to introduce EcoMix*, a color program produced using 100% recycled vinyl. Gone are the days of muddy, brown LPs when looking for a more environmentally responsible choice in vinyl manufacturing. MRP’s new EcoMix is made by carefully selecting, sorting, inspecting, and recycling multi-color LPs that didn’t pass the rigorous quality tests of their first pressing, resulting in seven ‘color families’ of recycled color material.
While each LP may vary in appearance throughout a production run when using EcoMix, the careful sorting of the materials prior to recycling allows for results that reside within each of the seven color families as shown on this page.
As an additional bonus, all EcoMix orders are also available with an optional white poly-lined sleeve made with 100% recycled paper and a biodegradable plastic liner.
Samples of these colors, as well as the optional biodegradable sleeve, are available upon request.
